Community Involvement

2010 | Directed a writing group of RMCAD graduates in the development of a complete 2-season series, story bible and feature film for animation.

2009 | Founded the Blue Marmot Writer’s Group – a forum for continuing education for RMCAD animation students and graduates in the arts of creative writing, criticism, and scriptwriting.

2008 | Within the context of a Collective 2 course, organized and produced the 2008 RMCAD Animation Film Festival.

2005 | Organized a class of 13 middle school students to purchase, fill, and contribute over 80 shoe boxes of toys, books, toiletries, and clothing for “Operation Christmas Child,” a program that provides necessities and gifts to orphaned and impoverished children all over the world.

2004 | Organized a class of 12 middle school students to contribute 59 filled shoe boxes to “Operation Christmas Child.”

2003 | Designed and taught 3 after-school Art Programs for K – 12th grade students.
